In the period from July 22 to August 8, 2024, the teachers of the department, Associate Professor Ihor Mulyar and Assistant Professor Nataliia Petliak, took part in the Erasmus+ summer school module Jean Monnet \u201cEuropean Experience for Improving the Resilience of Critical Facilities in Ukraine\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teachers were trained in three courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) \u201cEU best practices for responding to incidents at critical infrastructure facilities\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) EU Framework on Risk Management for Critical Infrastructure<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) \u201cEU experience in protecting Ukraine's critical infrastructure\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first course provided an introduction to EU policy, strategy and practice, and demonstrated strategies and practical applications for responding to incidents at critical infrastructure facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n

The purpose of the second course was to study the basics, methodologies and methods of the EU, communication tools for identifying, analyzing, responding to and controlling internal and external risks with recommendations to CI operators on reducing risks and vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n

The third course involved the study of practical EU scenarios for the protection of critical infrastructure, which allow for the resilience of critical facilities providing essential services in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n
