The question of the correct choice of the third subject from the additional block is of interest to all applicants today.
The competitive score (KB) is calculated according to the formula:
where K1, K2, K3 are weighting factors;
P1, P2, P3 – grades from the first, second and third subjects. For example, Applicant 1 from the additional block chose physics, and Applicant 2 - the history of Ukraine
Then the competitive points are calculated according to the formulas:
From the calculations, it can be seen that the coefficients for the additional subject do not significantly affect the competitive score - the grade has a greater effect. If Applicant 2 passes a subject with a lower coefficient by several points, he will receive a higher competitive score than Applicant 1, who chose a subject with a higher weighting coefficient.
Therefore, our advice is to choose the subject that you know best from the additional block.
For information, last year the minimum passing score for the budgetary form of study of specialty 125 "Cyber security and information protection" in Ukraine was 169.7.The minimum for admission to the contract form of education: 100 points in each subject of the national multi-subject test.
