The Unified State Qualification Exam (USQE) in the specialty 125-Cybersecurity for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education was held on April 25, 2024
We are proud to announce that students of the KB-20-1 group of Khmelnytsky National University have successfully passed the USE.
Passing the USE is an important step for our students in their professional careers, opening the way to employment opportunities and further education in their chosen field.
According to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of November 04, 2022, No. 980: “For the successful completion of the USQE, a future cybersecurity specialist must acquire competencies that are formed during the study of a set of mandatory educational components throughout the entire regulatory period in a higher education institution. The examinee must have a sufficient level of knowledge, skills and competencies in the field of information security and/or cybersecurity; have the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in practical situations; know and understand the subject area, understand the profession; be able to identify, pose and solve problems in the field of cybersecurity.”
Graduating students of the department have demonstrated a high level of knowledge, skills, competence and professional training in the field of information security and cybersecurity cybersecurity and confirmed the compliance of the educational program of KhNU with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science and modern world standards. This achievement is the result not only of the individual efforts of students, but also of the systematic and high-quality training provided by our educational program and the team of teachers.
As part of their studies at the Department of Cybersecurity of KhNU, higher education students studied a wide range of disciplines covering theoretical and practical aspects of cybersecurity, including threat analysis, cryptography, network security, intrusion detection and response techniques, and much more. Students have mastered modern methods and strategies for protecting information and networks based on international practices that have been adopted by teachers and students during international internships, which defines graduates as qualified future professionals in this important field.
