On May 28, 2024, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of Khmelnytsky National University was held in a mixed format, attended by Vasyl Kremen, President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Chairman of the Supervisory Board; Ivan Hryshchenko, Rector of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board; Nataliia Belyakova, President of the Khmelnytsky Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Nataliia Belyakova, Deputy Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection on Digitalization.
During the familiarization with the material and technical base of the university, the official opening of the Cybersecurity Research and Training Center, which was established in accordance with Order No. 27 of May 2, 2024, took place.
The purpose of the Center is to:
- conducting research in the field of information security;
- cooperation with research centers of Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions;
- implementation of research results in the educational and informational activities of higher education institutions, institutions, organizations, enterprises and individuals;
- organizing and conducting seminars, conferences, etc;
- scientific advice to institutions and organizations on cybersecurity issues;
- development, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive information security systems;
- Identification of vulnerabilities in information systems, penetration testing;
- conducting training courses.
