On October 30, 2024, the teachers of the Department of Cyber Security joined the first autumn event of the BOOST project "University Digitalization Plan", which gathered more than 220 participants interested in the development of digital technologies in education. The event, organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Bringing Opportunities and Organizational Success to Small Local Universities in Ukraine" (BOOST), became a platform for sharing experience and knowledge about modern digitization strategies for Ukrainian educational institutions, in particular relocated universities.
Experts in the field of digitization of higher education spoke at the event:
- Yurii Sicilitsyn, candidate of sciences from Melitopol State Pedagogical University named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi (Ukraine), who revealed the essence of the digitalization strategy for relocated universities.
- Ihor Galagan and Dmytro Klak from Taras Shevchenko Taras Shevchenko Regional Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy in Kremenets (Ukraine), who spoke about the importance of introducing robotics into the educational process.
- Andrii Klanchar and Sonia Rutar from the University of Primorsk (Slovenia), who shared their vision of improving the quality of education through the integration of digital technologies.
The program included detailed discussions on how to develop and implement a digitalization plan in the educational process, particularly in wartime conditions. Each of the reports ended with an interactive session, where participants could ask questions and discuss the challenges of digital transformation with experts.
