September 5, 2024 – This date became a turning point in my life. I was expecting something new, but I was a little nervous. A new team, new acquaintances, new teachers. However, I knew for sure that I was going there because I had wanted it for a long time. The Department of Cybersecurity at Khmelnytskyi National University was my conscious decision.

The learning process: from theory to practice
Digital forensics, reverse engineering, information security monitoring and management, CISCO courses, and much more—I tried all of these things for the first time, things I had dreamed about for a long time. Each subject was not just a set of theoretical knowledge, but a practical tool for future professional activity.
Writing my first theses and articles, defending my internship at the university, and defending my master's thesis were not too difficult thanks to the support of my teachers and systematic preparation. The only “problem” was time—it flew by very quickly. I wanted to stay longer at this department, enjoying the atmosphere of learning and development, but I understood that this important stage was over.
Unexpected recognition
I was aiming for a red diploma, setting this goal for myself from day one. But without expecting it, I became the best student in the faculty. Although the photos turned out to be mediocre due to my sincere surprise, one thing can be said—sleepless nights, constant learning, and self-improvement have paid off. This recognition confirmed that hard work and dedication always bear fruit.
Words of gratitude
I am grateful to my classmates who studied with me, supported me, and created that special atmosphere of student brotherhood. Together, we overcame challenges and shared knowledge and experience.
Special thanks to my research supervisor To Viktor Mykolaiovych Cheshun for your professional guidance, valuable advice, and support throughout all stages of writing my master's thesis on “The Agent-Based Method of Monitoring IoT Network Traffic.” Your experience and assistance were invaluable.
I would like to thank all the teachers of the Cybersecurity Department for their hard work, in-depth knowledge, and willingness to share their experience. It was your professionalism that allowed me to earn a red master's degree and become the best student in the faculty.
What next?
Completing my master's degree is not the end, but the beginning of a new journey. The knowledge I gained at the Department of Cybersecurity will serve as a solid foundation for my professional career. I am ready to protect the information space from cyber threats and contribute to the development of the cybersecurity industry.
Khmelnytsky National University and the Department of Cybersecurity will always remain in my heart. I will always be happy to return to my alma mater!
