Guest lecture "Cyber Protection and Reliable Information Security Systems" by the international independent company UnderDefense

On October 31, 2025, representatives of UnderDefense gave a guest lecture on "Cyber Defense and Reliable Information Security Systems" for students majoring in F5 Cybersecurity and Information Protection.

During the meeting, participants learned about the activities of UnderDefense, an independent company specializing in cyber security that is internationally recognized in the field of incident response, risk management, and building reliable information security systems. Thanks to its deep expertise and modern technologies, the company helps organizations effectively counter cyber threats and ensure compliance with international standards.

Speakers from UnderDefense focused the webinar on social engineering attacks, effective countermeasures against this type of attack, and training and testing personnel readiness for attacks.

The lecture covered the following topics:

  • social engineering;
  • stages of a social engineering attack;
  • examples of phishing;
  • Evilginx2 – a phishing tool for Red Teaming;
  • practical demonstration of examples of attacks.

To test the knowledge and practical skills acquired, UnderDefense provided working cases, which the participants successfully completed.

In conclusion, representatives of UnderDefense invited students to join the UnderDefense Internship 2026, a nine-month training program that gives the best students the opportunity to obtain further employment with the company.
