Laboratory of Network Security

The laboratory is located in classroom 4-235 and is used to conduct the disciplines "Information Protection in Information and Communication Systems", "Methodology of Attack Organization and Penetration Testing", "Protection and Monitoring of Computer Networks", "Operating Systems and Technologies for Their Protection", "Technologies for Detecting Vulnerabilities and Intrusions". Within the framework of these disciplines, students study:
• build computer networks;
• configure network equipment;
• detect and counter network attacks;
• configure operating systems.

The laboratory is equipped with:
• a projector for demonstrating presentations, thematic videos, etc.;
• 12 workstations with Intel Core i5 computers;
• 12 additional seats for students with their own gadgets.

A variety of equipment is used in laboratory work in the above disciplines:
• Cisco 4000 series routers;
• Mikrotik routers;
• Cisco ASA firewalls;
• Fortinet firewalls;
• Cisco Catalyst 2960 switches;
• D-Link switches;
• TP-Link switches;

• HP ProLiant ML350 Gen10 servers;
• Cisco servers.
