From the beginning of August, the Department of Cyber Police began to receive requests from citizens regarding the appropriation of their money under the guise of a reward for taking surveys.
In various social networks, the perpetrators are distributing a video where, on behalf of a Ukrainian TV presenter, she talks about payments for participation in a social survey in the field of the consumer market.
In the description of the video, fraudsters post a link to a resource where you can allegedly complete a survey and receive a guaranteed monetary reward.
Along with this, in the comments, criminals post fake reviews about the successful transfer of money.
After passing the pseudo-survey, citizens are asked to enter their bank card details to pay the "commission" and deposit the money. However, when performing such actions, citizens not only transfer money to scammers, but also give them their bank details, which the scammers use in their own interests.
The Cyber Police urges citizens to critically assess information regarding the provision of various financial payments or gifts.
We also advise you not to follow dubious links and in no case enter/communicate personal (personal) information, payment data.
