Students of the "Cybersecurity" and "Cybersecurity and Information Protection" majors successfully completed the European online course on countering disinformation

Students of the educational programs "Cybersecurity" and "Cybersecurity and Information Protection" successfully completed the online course "European Approach to Countering Online Disinformation as a Threat to Democracy", organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project "Integrating a Promising EU Cybersecurity Ecosystem in Ukraine" (EUCyberEcoUA, 2024–2027).

Over the course of several weeks, participants learned about:

  • modern approaches of the European Union to combating disinformation;
  • the role of disinformation campaigns in undermining democratic institutions;
  • practical cases of attacks on EU countries;
  • mechanisms for protecting democratic values ​​in the face of hybrid threats.

The course format included online lectures, analytical materials, and case studies. As a result of the training, everyone successfully completed the final assignments and received the corresponding certificates.
