Students of the educational programs "Cybersecurity" and "Cybersecurity and Information Protection" successfully completed the online course "European Approach to Countering Online Disinformation as a Threat to Democracy", organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project "Integrating a Promising EU Cybersecurity Ecosystem in Ukraine" (EUCyberEcoUA, 2024–2027).
Over the course of several weeks, participants learned about:
- modern approaches of the European Union to combating disinformation;
- the role of disinformation campaigns in undermining democratic institutions;
- practical cases of attacks on EU countries;
- mechanisms for protecting democratic values in the face of hybrid threats.
The course format included online lectures, analytical materials, and case studies. As a result of the training, everyone successfully completed the final assignments and received the corresponding certificates.
