On March 24, 2026, the applicants for the VO met with the operational officer of the Department for Counteracting Cybercrime in the Khmelnytskyi region, Roman Bas, and with the cadet of the Educational and Scientific Institute No. 4 of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Yaroslav Myronchuk, on the issues of preventing their involvement in illegal activities by representatives of the special services of the aggressor state.

During the meeting, the speakers analyzed in detail the current schemes used by hostile intelligence services to recruit young people through social networks and messengers. Particular attention was paid to the following aspects:
- Manipulation methods – how to recognize offers of “easy money” that are actually tasks to destabilize the situation in the region.
- Digital hygiene – rules for safe online behavior and protection of personal data from foreign intelligence.
- Legal consequences – criminal liability for treason and sabotage, even if committed “unknowingly.”
Applicants were able to ask practical questions about how to secure their digital space and where to contact if they receive suspicious messages.
