Class on “Academic Integrity. Information Search”

On September 26, first-year students majoring in F5 “Cybersecurity and Information Protection” attended a class on “Academic Integrity. Information Search.”

During the meeting, students learned about the basic principles of academic integrity, ways to prevent plagiarism, and the possible consequences of violating ethical standards in scientific activity. Special attention was paid to practical advice on the effective use of the resources of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and the tools of the Google Scholar search engine.

An important part of the session was a discussion of the role of open access to scientific knowledge. Students also learned about the capabilities of the institutional repository of Khmelnytsky National University and the National Repository of Academic Texts, which promote the dissemination of scientific research results and ensure transparency in the educational process.
