On July 13, 2021, a regular online meeting was held to discuss the development of the course “Protection and Monitoring of Computer Networks” as part of the program “Development of Educational Materials for Ukrainian Universities” with the support of CRDF Global.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and Computer Systems and Networks, Yurii Klots, Associate Professor Vira Titova, course curators Baijian Yang and Yurii Baryshev, and representatives of CRDF Global.
The meeting resulted in the discussion and approval of presentations of materials for lectures and guidelines for laboratory work on the topic “Methodology of attacks on computer networks”, which included the classification of attacks on computer networks, the classification of network security offenders by their motivation, experience and available tools, and a list of software and hardware required for laboratory work.
