On November 9, 2021, an online meeting of students of the cyber security department with representatives of the EPAM company took place.
The EPAM company helps world leaders to design, develop and implement software, including solving issues of information security of software products and data. One of the main areas of its activity is training programs of all the most popular technologies and areas for senior students and beginners who want to learn a new profession or improve themselves. Cooperation of the cyber security department with the EPAM company is developing in the direction of the organization of informal education of students, professional development and employment of graduates. The perspective of the EPAM company is the opening of an office in Khmelnytskyi, which determines the company's interest in training qualified personnel on site and involving them in work. A meeting of students with EPAM stakeholders was organized for this purpose.
During the meeting, the head of the EPAM laboratory in Vinnytsia Oleg Kovalyuk gave an overview lecture on the topic "Online trainings of the EPAM company - new opportunities for students."
Oleksandr Shevchenko (Lead Software Test Automation Engineer, EPAM) held a master class "Fundamentals of automated testing".
The content of the meeting interested the students and caused an active discussion. Students asked questions on the subject of software testing, taking courses under the EPAM University training program, and future employment prospects for course graduates.
