On July 20, 2022, another online meeting of students and teaching staff of the Department of Cyber Security of KhNU with stakeholders from the Department of Countering Cybercrimes in the Khmelnytskyi Region of the Department of Cyber Police of the National Police of Ukraine took place.
During the meeting, cyber police stakeholders discussed with the students the current tasks of the cybercrime countermeasures department in the Khmelnytskyi region, the emergence of which is due to the dynamically changing circumstances of military operations on the fronts of confrontation with the Russian aggressor, in particular, in information and cyberspace. The mutual interest of the parties caused a discussion about the role and opportunities in countering the Russian aggressor of students of various courses of the Cybersecurity specialty, taking into account the planned level of mastery of the training program under the educational program of the same name.
The main focus of the meeting was the presentation of the project of the Department of Cyber Police - the "MRIYA" ecosystem.
The key idea of the project was embodied in the @stopdrugs chatbot, which united proactive citizens to fight against Telegram channels involved in the distribution of drugs through the Internet. The rethinking of the project took place a few days after the full-scale invasion of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine, as the war against our people is actively being waged in the media space as well. Support for our military, ordinary citizens, as well as opposition to Kremlin media propagandists has become critically necessary. Therefore, the @stopdrugs bot was reformatted to combat fake and pro-Russian resources on the Internet.
The developers and ideological inspirers of the "MRIYA" project turned it into a powerful initiative to counter the Russian occupiers in the information space.
In the course of the presentation, the specialists of the cybercrime countermeasures department demonstrated to the students the main functionality of the MRIYA ecosystem, which combines the main areas of activity of the Cyber Police Department, formed during the war, and enables citizens of Ukraine (students of the cyber security department, etc.) to join the fight against the occupiers in the information spacious
- Bot «StopRussia | MRIYA»: @stopdrugsbot – a chatbot for receiving information about fake resources, which are checked and sent for blocking by moderators. Thanks to this chatbot, the largest number of anti-Ukrainian resources and profiles have been collected - more than 50,000. chat bot Everyone can join the blocking of the occupier's resources.
- Channel "StopRussia | MRIYA»: https://t.me/stoprussiachannel – a community of caring Ukrainians who oppose Russian aggression on the Internet. This channel is the main instruction and means of communication with subscribers regarding the blocking of enemy resources. Online tasks for subscribers, fresh news and relevant information on cyber hygiene appear daily on this platform.
- The "People's Avenger" bot: https://t.me/ukraine_avanger_bot - this chatbot sends information about the movement of enemy equipment, the Russian military and their accomplices, detected looters, or found unexploded ammunition. The received information is processed by bot moderators and handed over to law enforcement officers for processing. Recently, an option was also added here to specify CCTV cameras in places where the occupiers are.
- "MRIYA Automatic" service: a free automated service to combat Russian propaganda, developed by Banwar and Qlixer Social.
- "Cat Drive" game: this is a charity clicker game, where cats of the Armed Forces, territorial defense and policemen free their native land from the racist invasion. Virtual battles take place at legendary locations: Chornobayivka, Gostomel and the Moscow cruiser. In the game, you have to defeat orc leaders such as "the don", the mustached cockroach and the minister of useless affairs of Russia.
Also, the "MRIYA" project provides an opportunity to support the Armed Forces and purchase unique game assets (NFT), the proceeds from the sale of which will go to the needs of the defenders of Ukraine.
