On April 9, a career guidance event was held in Netishyn, which became a platform for open communication between high school students and representatives of the educational sphere. The event was initiated by the branch of the KhNPP, which invited leading Ukrainian higher education institutions to help students make an important choice regarding their future profession.
The meeting was attended by students of grades 10–11 of the Netishyn Academic Lyceum. The event began with a speech by Volodymyr Hudzys, Deputy General Director of the Khmelnytskyi NPP branch of Energoatom JSC. He introduced the youth to the current state of nuclear energy, its importance for the country, and opportunities for professional development in this field. In his address, he emphasized the importance of a conscious choice and urged students to consider technical education as a promising path that could lead them to work at Khmelnytskyi NPP.
After that, the students had the opportunity to communicate directly with representatives of universities. In particular, Khmelnytskyi National University presented its educational programs, talked about the features of the admission campaign, the educational process and employment opportunities after graduation. Particular attention was paid to such areas as electric power, nuclear power, automation, cybersecurity and chemical technologies - these specialties are key to the stable functioning of the energy system.
The meeting ended with an open dialogue format, where students could ask questions and receive honest answers about their studies and career prospects.
Such initiatives play an important role in the professional self-determination of young people.
