USAID Project “Cybersecurity of Ukraine's Critical Infrastructure”

On October 18, 2021, the next phase of the USAID Cybersecurity Activity educational component of the USAID project “Cybersecurity of Ukraine's Critical Infrastructure” started.

Within the framework of this component, Associate Professor Cheshun V.M. will undergo advanced training in the course “Digital Forensics”.

And associate professor Titova V.Y. - on the course “Incident Response”.

Both courses are taught by leading professors from Purdue University (USA): Dr. Marcus Rogers, Nicholas Sturgeon and Krassimir Tsvetanov.

Starting from the first classes, such topical issues as the main tasks of digital forensics, evidence preservation technologies, and techniques for analyzing and investigating cyber incidents were discussed. These issues and modern teaching technologies will be further implemented in the department's educational process to improve the professional level of higher education students and make them more competitive in the contemporary labour market.
