Ceremonial first lecture for first-year students: a powerful motivational start on the path to knowledge

On September 1, Khmelnytsky National University traditionally held a solemn first lecture for first-year students of all faculties on the topic: “Education, science, and culture as guarantees of personal and national success,”which is organized annually by the Department of Educational and Pedagogical Work.

This year, Dr. I. E. Zhurba, Doctor of Economics and Professor of the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business, gave an inspiring speech to first-year students majoring in F5 Cybersecurity and Information Protection.

The topic of the first lecture covered important issues of the development of education, science, and culture in Ukraine. The lecturer emphasized the historical significance of education in the formation of the nation, outlined the mission of modern youth in the formation of a strong and independent state, and focused on the challenges and prospects of the educational system.

He placed particular emphasis on the fact that critical thinking, an innovative approach, and continuous self-development are the key to the personal success of each student and the future of the entire country.

For many first-year students, this lecture was a powerful motivational start on the path to knowledge and professional growth. It proved that student life is a time of responsibility, bold ideas, and belief in one's own strengths.

The solemn first lecture at KNU is traditionally called an event that sets the right vector for the entire academic year. And this time, it once again confirmed that education, science, and culture are indeed the values that shape a successful personality and a strong state.
