On November 19, 2020, Yurii Klots, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and Computer Systems and Networks of Khmelnytskyi National University, participated in a virtual roundtable discussion on “Higher Education in Cybersecurity”.
The event was organized with the support of the USAID project “Cybersecurity of Ukraine's Critical Infrastructure”. The meeting was attended by American and Ukrainian representatives of the public and private sectors and the academic community.
Representatives of USAID and the Government of Ukraine welcomed the experts who explored the problems and solutions in a dynamic panel discussion. The roundtable participants identified specific steps to improve curricula, build faculty capacity, and develop innovative teaching tools. The participants were also presented with the results of new research on cybersecurity higher education in Ukraine.
