On March 29, the Department of Cyber Security and Computer Systems and Networks held an open lecture with the participation of Oleksandr Mykhailovych Vlasyuk, senior inspector for special assignments of the Department of Countering Cybercrimes in the Khmelnytskyi Region.
Lecture topic: Information and cyber security incidents - detection, identification, response and investigation.
The lecture was attended by students of the second-fourth years of the "Cybersecurity" specialty, V.M. Cheshun, the guarantor of the "Cybersecurity" OPP, and the head of the Department of Cyber Security, Yu.P. Klyots. and associate professor of the department Mulyar I.V.
During the class Vlasyuk O.M. familiarized the audience with the main stages of information and cyber security incident management, gave examples from his own practice of detecting cyber security incidents, their identification and registration, investigation and collection of legal evidence during the investigation, and offered the students who took the most active part in the discussion of the lecture topic to deepen their practical skills with issues of detection and investigation of information and cyber security incidents during the nearest practice on the basis of the Cybercrime Prevention Department in the Khmelnytskyi region.
